We thank all families who took into their home one of our little strays. When an animal is adopted, the free space is used immediately for the next animal in need.

These are some of our successes.

Two handsome boys (any objection on this?) decided to share their lives. Wolf and his dad! His dad came with one thought in his mind, to adopt the certain dog and Wolf did not let anyone down. He stuck next to his dad saying with his gorgeous eyes "take me, take me". We thank the family for not hesitating to adopt an adult dog and offering him a life in a warm, loving home. Darling Wolf, we wish you many happy and crazy moments in the years to come. 10.1.09
And Fenya, our energetic Malinois girl, left the shelter to go and live in a fancy area of the city. She has her own family now, an elderly Alsatian to keep nagging and a garden to run around and steem off her energy. Shortly, she will be given private doggie savoir-vivre lessons at home.  Gorgeous, we wish you all the best!  We have no doubt that you will love your family to pieces. From the first moment, she went and sat by her dad and didn't even move an inch. 10.1.09
Our pretty white Canadian girl left the shelter too. All dogs of her pack have been poisoned and only Carol survived as she was at the time in the shelter to be spayed and treated and she stayed with us until we found a family for her. As soon as Carol arrived home, she went straight for a hot bath to wash all the mud off - the only way to sleep in her mom's bed! And there was a second surprise waiting for her at home: Gorgeous Ruddy, her new brother! We thank the family and wish to our girl all the best.  10.1.09
And the big surprise came from our Tara, our adult black pit bull, our lollipop:-) Once at home, she went straight for a hot bath and a good rub, so she could sleep in her dad's bed. She will spend the rest of her life doing what she does best. Loving her humans and mostly her young dad! She accompanies him while he is doing his homework and his every day routine. Tara is such an affectionate dog! If she could she would be giving kisses to the whole world. Bless you sweet girl, you have deserved a loving home! 10.1.09
We were so overwhelmed with joy when Blackie found finally his family, that we forgot to take pictures. But that's OK, as he will come soon with his dad and mom to the shelter to visit us. Blackie lived at the shelter since his early puppyhood, but no one wanted to adopt him. Two years had to pass until he was chosen by his new family. His new name is Dali and he descovers day by day the big world outside the shelter and its marvels, i.e. long walks, hugs, a nap on a soft carpet and occasionally on the sofa and of course a family all for himself. 10.1.09

Ricky, our half breed Dobermann, found his family too. He had grown so tall that people did not dare to adopt such a large dog, though he was still a puppy. Ricky has now a home, a mom, a dad and a garden. What else would a dog ask from life? We thank the family for offering to Ricky a loving home. 6.1.09

The day was lucky for Rodo too.  She left her puppy friends and started her new life in the arms of her mom. Already the message we received from the first night at her new home, was more than positive for the future.  Rodo has become very attached to her mom, well behaved and sweet. 6.1.09

Do you remember when we said that Myrsini had reached the very bottom and from there on the only way was up? Well, that is what actually happened. The little black puppy, which no one would even give a second look has been adopted. Her family chose her exactly for what she is. A beautiful soul that experienced in her early days the absolut horror and now it is time for life to offer her what she really deserves. Love, warmth and her own family. We thank the family with all our heart. 6.1.09

Robin, now called Rash, just jumped in his mom's arms and left. What more can we wish for our little one? At home, Dackie, the family's first dog, is waiting for him and if Rash behaves, Dackie will teach him so many things. We thank the family and we are certain that Rash will give and take love and joy. 23.12.08

Our little Mimoza, blind from one eye, finally went home. All her siblings had been adopted and this little one had stayed behind. The days were passing and many precious moments of her puppyhood were lost to the people that would decide to adopt her. Until Cleo came, took her in her arms bonds of everlasting love were sealed. Mimoza is called now Vanilla, though she has not yet lost her puppy smell:-)  May a star shine always on you, sweet girl! 20.12.08

Mimoza-Vanilla at home with her older sister Rubini.

Frixos, our "lamm" has been adopted by the same family who have adopted our three legged female setter Mika.  Frixos is a young large half breed Belgian shepherd, blind from one eye, who has known man's cruelty from his very early age. But nothing could stop him from being one of our sweetest and most affectionate animals. What else can we say to the family but a big thank you.

Smaro with the blue blue eyes found her home and has named Nephele. Two more dogs, a cat, a bunny, a human brother and a Christmas tree were waiting for her in her new home. And you still think that Christmas miracles do not happen? Fotini please, don't spoil her too much, just a little:-))  06.12.08

One picture says more than a thousand words.  Iris, white and well fed is in the arms of her human brother.  Two kids, one two legged and one four legged, will grow together enriching each other's lives with thousands of emotions. Good luck littel hooligan girl.

Romeo, Mimoza's brother and Golfo's baby, visited us bringing along the whole family. His mom, his auntie and his human brother. One more pup that was born under a star!  In the photo Romeo poses with his new red coat and hood. That pup loved always to show off:-)) 15.11.08

When Oscar set foot in the shelter, made it clear that he doesn't intend to stay long. And that's what he did.  In no time this most handsome young boy found his family, mom, dad and human brothers! We thank the family and wish our boy all the luck in the world. 6.12.08

And our beauty, with capital letters! Irma, our sweet chinese lion. In the picture with her mom and dad and with her rescuer, who found her in the street dying. If it weren't for her and for our vets who acted immediately, Irma wouldn't be alive now and enjoying life. Bless you all, those who rescued her and those who secured her future. 15.11.08

Fresia, another pup born to Golfo, found her family too. Her young mom and she will play and run around as if they had the same age:-))  30.10.08

Makis, Golfo's second son, decided to leave the pollution of the big city and go to the country side, to Kopaida. Aarchaeological sites there are waiting for him for a good digging. After all, he was the best pupil of the litter. 30.10.08

Merilyn, our little black girl. She came to the shelter to be spayed but she was such a treasure, that we couldn't bring ourselves to set her back in the street. Merilyn has been adopted in Canada and her two moms say that they have not seen so far an animal wishing so much to please her humans.  Merilyn's new name is Nyxie, deriving from the ancient greek word Nyx=night and amazes her family with her unique character.

Domenico is the most beautiful puppy that came to the shelter ever! Irma's son and Kelly's brother, the little teddy bear found the perfect home.  He is loved by his mom, two older dogs and is endured by the 6 cats of the family:-)  Add to all that a vaaast garden and you can get a small idea how is Domenico's life.  Good luck gorgeous!

Nionios and his dad Russel.  Two tall handsome bachelors living together in a 20th floor condo in Toronto. Dad works from his home and the two of them keep company to each other, when they don't go for long walks in doggie parks and along the shores of the lake. We thank Russel with all our heart for the loving home he offered to Nionios. Our boy has suffered so much in his greek days. He was found badly injured with a leg multiple fracture and an ear shred to small pieces, which had to be amputated. He deserves the best and ha has found it! 3.10.08

Our puppy girl Scarlet left without looking back, good for her! She was Atlas' sweetheart and when he was adopted, she was left behind.  But shortly afterwards Scarlet joined her family too. Her mom and dad are a wonderful couple and they take her every day to the office, a very animal friendly office!  Our girl shines with her good manners and affectionate character.

And our dreamer Topsie found her home. We thank her family who decided to adopt a black mix breed animal, offering her the chance to a life with love and dignity. Topsie had come to the shelter as a small puppy and stayed for more than a year. Good luck Topsie darling.  2.10.08

It was love at first site, Kelly and her dad! Kelly is Irma's daughter and Domenico's sister. Her dad calls her "Goddess" Good luck sweet lion-bear puppy! 20.9.08

When we found her at the side road, bleeding from her cut off leg, we gave her the name Pamo, meaning hero in an Indian dialect.  She survived, she was operated and she lives now by one of the best families ever.  SHer new name is Mika and she is the great love of her dad. Another miracle for one of our babies. 20.6.08

Our teddy bear number 2 left the shelter to join his family.  Ronie, after his brother Dino, lives happily as the new member of his family.  He has two pals to play with and a big garten where he'll help his mom, when she plants her new flowers, by digginf the wholes.  We thank the family for opening their heart and home to our baby. 8.1.2008

Ivo found at last his for ever home and we can walk around the shelter without him jumping like a rubber ball, trying to draw our attention :-)   Now he has a dad, an appartment, a 4X4 car and he says he plans to have a house built on one of the Greek islands!  Thank you Rob for giving our little stray a loving home.  27.11.07

Little Loulaki (Indigo) has been adopted. She lives now happily with her dream family. Her new name is Jennie. The children chose her especially because of her limp, knowing that it would be difficult to rehome her.

Alex whose name is now Axel, so that she won't be confused with her mom.  She has now a family, a home, a lovely week end house and a strong 4X4 for her excursions.

Savanah is the lucky one. She was the first to be adopted among her siblings. She lives with her loving family. Never again a stray's life for Savanah.
